Start a group conversation

  • On desktop (MacOS and Windows) or on Wire for web:

    There are two ways:

    1. In the conversation list, click People to show the search field.

    2. Click Create Group

    3. Name the group, e.g. Team meeting

    4. Select people to add to the group

    5. Click CREATE.

    You can have a group conversation with up to 500 people.

    Or, you can add people to an existing 1:1 conversation.

  • On mobile devices:

    1. In the conversation list, tap People people16x16.png.
    2. Tap Create group  Group16px.png.
    3. Name the group, e.g. Team meeting.
    4. Tap NEXT.
    5. Select people to add to the group. 
    6. Tap CREATE.

    You can have a group conversation with up to 500 people.

    Or, you can add people to an existing 1:1 conversation.
