Data storage when using Wire for web and on desktop is based on IndexedDB, which the browser (Google Chrome, Firefox) manages. When storage on the local machine is running low (“under storage pressure”), user agents automatically clear storage to make more available space.
It can also affect the data storage of Wire. Please make sure you have enough free storage on your device (min. 20% free disk space available).
