Version history

You can get an overview about edited files by looking into the version history.

On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)

  1. Open the Shared Drive tab in your conversation:

  2. Find the corresponding document, sheet, or presentation.
  3. Select the more options button :

  4. Select Version History:

  5. You get an overview of the different versions, including the editor, size, date, and time:

  6. Hover over a version to get the option to download or restore a certain version:


     

You can also select a file in the conversation to access the version history:

  1. Select the More options button in the file view.
  2. Select Version History:

Info

  • Document editing is based on the tool Collabora Online
  • You can edit Word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • The following formats are supported:
    • On desktop: docx, pptx, xlsx
    • On mobile: docx, pptx, xlsx, dotx, xltx, ppsx, doc, ppt, xls, dot, xlt, pps, odt, odp, ods, ots, ott, otp, rtf, and csv
  • Several people can work on a document at the same time. You get an overview about who else is editing the file with you.
  • Documents will be autosaved after 5 minutes
  • You have the option to view previous versions of an edited document, download, and restore it
