Send a file

You can send any file type up to 100 MB when you are part of a team (Wire Basic, Wire for Enterprise or Wire for Governments). As a personal user you can send files up to 25MB.

• On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)

  In the conversation: 

  1. Select the file button :
     
     
  2. Select the file you'd like to share.
  3. Select Open.
     
     
     
     

• On mobile

  In the conversation list:

  1. Select the conversation in which you'd like to send a file.
  2. Select the more button .
  3. Select the file button .
  4. Select the file you'd like to share.
