Conference calling allows you to connect to a conference room for your secure and private audio and video conferences with a higher number of participants:
- Up to 50 participants for a video conference
- Up to 100 participants for an audio conference
You can initiate (only Wire for Enterprise) or join a conference call by using the latest version of Wire:
- On mobile: iOS & Android
- On desktop: Windows, macOS & webapp (on Chrome 87 or higher, Chrome changed the API and we therefore decided to drop support for lower versions) – other browsers will follow once they support the necessary API’s

Before you accept a call, you can unmute yourself and/or turn your camera on.
During a call you can also use landscape mode on mobile devices, including screen sharing.
Conference calls can have a duration of up to 6 hours. After that, it is possible that the call may be disrupted during occasional maintenance.
