Remove someone from a group

As a group admin, you can remove anyone from a group conversation at any time.

On desktop (macOS and Windows) or on Wire for web

1. Select the conversation from the conversation list:
   
   
2. Select conversation info or group name:
   
   
3. Select the participant:
   
   
4. Select Remove from group:
   
   
5. Select REMOVE:
   
   

On mobile

iOS

In the conversation list:

1. Select the group conversation name.
2. Inside the conversation, select the name of the group at the top of the conversation.
3. Select the contact you'd like to remove.
4. Select Remove from group.
5. Select REMOVE.

Android

In the conversation list:

1. Select the group conversation name.
2. Inside the conversation, select the name of the group at the top of the conversation.
3. Select Participants.
4. Select the contact you'd like to remove.
5. Select Remove from group.
6. Select REMOVE.
