On iPhone and iPad
Wire uses the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to alert you when you receive a new message.
Here are some suggestions for your iPhone and iPad settings to ensure you are able to receive notifications:
- Go to your device settings.
- Select General.
- Select Background App Refresh.
- Select the toggle for Wire to on. If it already shows as on, try tapping it off and then on again.
In Wire
- Go to Settings .
- Select Advanced.
- Select Reset Push Notifications.
If it still doesn´t work, please do the following:
- Create a backup.
- Log out.
- Delete Wire.
- Reinstall Wire.
- Log in and restore your backup.
