MUTE CONVERSATION

Silences notifications for a specific conversation.

MENTION

Mention someone in a conversation.

REPLY NOTIFICATION

When somebody replied directly to your message.

ARCHIVE

Hides a conversation, so it no longer appears in your conversation list.

CONTACTS

Allows you to search for contacts.

ADD PEOPLE

Allows you to add people to a conversation.

ADD PICTURE

On Mobile, lets you add pictures to a conversation or change your profile picture.

PICTURE

Lets you add a picture to a conversation.

FILE

Lets you share a file.

SHUTTER

On mobile lets you take a video or a picture to add to a conversation, or take a new profile picture.

MORE

Displays additional menu items.

SPINNER

Alerts you that there's a delay in sending a message.

RESEND

Allows you to send an unsent audio message.

PLUS

Allows you to add an account.

CHECK

On mobile, confirms video and/or audio message.

PING

Alerts a connection with an animation and sound.

LEAVE/REMOVE

Enables you to leave or to remove someone from a group conversation.

CALL

Starts an audio call in private or group conversations.

DECLINE/HANG UP

Declines or ends an ongoing call.

MICROPHONE OFF

Disables microphone when on a call.

Puts your call on speaker.

Turns the speaker off.

VIDEO CALL

Starts a video call.

SCREEN SHARING ON

Allows you to share your desktop screen when on a call or video call.

SCREEN SHARING OFF

Stops sharing your desktop screen.

EDIT

Allows you to change your profile name or a group conversation name.

DOWNLOAD

Saves a picture from a conversation to your device.

BLOCK

On desktop, lets you block a person.

UNDO

Discards changes in a previous sketch.

SKETCH

Allows you to sketch in a conversation or on a picture. 

BACK

On mobile, lets you go back to the previous view.

GIPHY

Allows you to send a GIF in a conversation.

MORE GIFS

On desktop, lets you select a GIF.

ADD

On iOS, sends a connection request to contacts you may know.

SETTINGS

On desktop, brings you to account preferences.

TRASH

Shows you that a message has been deleted.

  LOCATION

On mobile, lets you pin and share locations on a map.

AUDIO MESSAGE

On mobile, lets you share an audio clip in a conversation.

CHAT

Lets you type a message while on a video call.

EMOJI

Lets you add emojis to your conversations and pictures.

SEND

On mobile, sends a message in a conversation.

LIKE

Indicates that someone liked a message.

SELF-DELETING MESSAGE

Allows you to send a self-destructing message. 

TIMER

Starts the self-destructing countdown on a timed message.

SEARCH

Lets you search a keyword or phrase in a conversation. Shows all pictures, links, and files in a conversation as well.

FORWARD 

On mobile, lets you forward a picture into another conversation.  

VIEW

Shows you when a picture was posted inside a conversation. 

TYPING INDICATOR

Indicates that someone is typing.

MARKDOWN

On iOS, it allows you to apply markdown on a message.

AVAILABLE

Let your team members know that you are available.

BUSY

Let your your team members know that you are busy.

 AWAY

Let your team members know that you are away.

GROUP ADMIN

Group Admins manage the roles, the conversation´s name and settings.

EXTERNAL

An external, for example a client or a contractor, is part of a team. 

GUEST

A Guest, for example, a private user or a team member of another team, is not part of your team.

FEDERATED USER

Visible to users who belong to other backends. The federated users in your contacts and groups can be recognized by this icon.
