Switch between dark and light theme

On desktop

Depending on your needs, you have the option to switch between a light and dark background in Wire.

1. Select Settings :
   
   
2. Select Options:
   
   
3. Activate or deactivate the Dark theme:
   
   
    

Please note: Wire adapts to the set layout of the operating system. If Windows is set to Dark, Wire will also start with a dark background.

On mobile 

Depending on your needs, you have the option to switch between a light and dark background in Wire.

 

iOS

In the conversation list:

1. Select Settings .
2. Select Options.
3. Select Dark Theme to toggle between dark and light theme.

Android

In the conversation list:

1. Select the menu button .
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Appearance.
4. Choose between dark or light theme.
