How can I submit a debug report or a calling debug report?

Having trouble starting a call or during a call? Please send us a calling debug report and let us know what happened.

Having other troubles? Please send us a debug report and explain the issue.

 

  1. On desktop (macOS and Windows)

    Submit a debug report

    1. Open the menu.
    2. Select Help.
    3. Select Download Debug Logs:

     

    On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)

    Submit a calling debug report


    1. Select Settings :

    2. Select Audio / Video:

    3. Under Troubleshooting, select Save Report:


    4. Send the saved file to support@wire.com and describe briefly what went wrong to help us to identify the issue.

     

    Calling logs do not include any call content, personal information, fingerprint, device ID, user ID, or IP address.

     

  2. On Mobile

    iOS


    In the conversation list:

    1. Select Settings .
    2. Select Advanced.
    3. Select Create debug report.

    Android


    In the main menu:

    1. Select Settings .
    2. Under Other > Select Debug Settings.
    3. Make sure Enable logging toggle was turned on before reproducing the issue.
    4. Select Report bug.

    Please describe briefly what went wrong to help us to identify the issue.

     

    Please be aware: Logs are off by default on Android. Please turn on Collect usage data in Advanced. Only then, data will be collected and stored on your device. As soon as you turn off the toggle all saved data will be deleted.
