Single sign-on (SSO) – Update connection

If you need to update your SSO configuration, for example, if you exchange your IdP, please use the Update Connection button in team management.

 

Make sure:

  • Your new SSO setup uses the same unique user identifiers as your previous configuration
  • You’ve imported the updated SSO metadata, and the Attributes and Claims in your IdP provider match what was used before

We also recommend that all team members back up their history before this process occurs, just as a precaution.

 

In the app:

1. Select Settings , then select Manage team or go to teams.wire.com.

2. Log in with your account credentials:

3. Select Customization. Here you will see the section for SSO:

4. Select the more info button .

5. Select Update Connection:
