On desktop (macOS, Windows) or on Wire for web
You can manage the input/output devices for audio and video calls:
- Select Settings
:
- Select Audio / Video:
- Select the options button
and select the correct device in the microphone, speakers, or camera section:
You can also enable automatic gain control. This way, your microphone volume will be adjusted automatically to ensure all participants in a call are heard with similar and comfortable loudness.
If you are experiencing any issues, please verify that you have not previously denied access to the microphone or camera.
Sometimes it also helps to physically plug the camera in and out.
You can also select the devices directly during a call or a conference.
