When you communicate with someone, your devices have a cryptographic session. At any time, you can select RESET SESSION to refresh the connection between your device and the ones of your contacts. It will generate new encryption keys on both devices.

On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)
- Inside the conversation, select the conversation name or the info button :
- Select Devices:
- Select the device your contact is using:
- Select Reset session:
You can also reset sessions of your devices in your Wire settings under Devices.

On mobile devices
- Inside the conversation, select your contact's name at the top of the conversation.
- Select DEVICES.
- Select the device your contact is using.
- Select RESET SESSION.
