Archive conversations

Archiving allows you to keep only the most relevant conversations on your list.

On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)

Archive a conversation

1. Select the conversation.
2. Select the conversation name or the info button :
   
   
3.  Select Archive:
   
   
   
   The conversation moves to the archive.
   
   

   View an archived conversation

   
   
   1. Select Archive:
      
      
   2. Select the conversation:
      
      
   3. Select Unarchive:
      
      
   4.  The conversation will return to the conversation list.

Archive a conversation

From the conversation list:

1. Swipe right on the conversation you want to archive.
2. Select ARCHIVE.

The conversation moves to the archive.

View an archived conversation

1. Select the archive button .

2. Select the conversation. The unarchived conversation will return to the conversation list.

Android

Archive a conversation

From the conversation list:

1. Long tap on the conversation you want to archive.
2. Select Move to Archive.
3. Select Archive.

The conversation moves to the archive.

View an archived conversation

In the conversation list:

1. Select the menu button .
2. Select Archive.
3. Long tap on the conversation you want to unarchive.
4. Select Unarchive.
