How can I find someone?

On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)

If you are already connected

1. Search in ALL for the person you're looking for:

2. Type the the profile name or username and select the relevant contact:

If you are not connected

1. Select Connect:

2. Type the the profile name or username of the person you're looking for:


3. Select the person and verify the person´s identity.
4. Select Connect:

When the person accepts your request you are connected and can start communicating.

On mobile

On iOS

If you are already connected

1. Search in All Conversations for the person you're looking for.
2. Type the the profile name or username and select the relevant contact.

If you are not connected

1. In the conversation list, select the add button .
2. Type the username into the search field.
3. Select the person and verify the person´s identity.
4. Select Connect. When the person accepts your request you are connected and can start communicating.

On Android

1. Select NEW.
2. Type the profile name or username of the person you're looking for.
