Change your username

On desktop (macOS, Windows, and Wire for web)

1. Select Settings to open your profile:
   
   
2. Select the edit button  :
   
   
3. Edit your username to anything you like. Wire will tell you if the username is available or not:
   
   
4. Hit Return.
   
   
   

On mobile

iOS

In the conversation list:

1. 1. Select Settings .
   2. Select Account.
   3. Select Username.
   4. Edit your username to anything you like. Wire will tell you if the username is available or not.
   5. Select Save.

Android

In the conversation list:

1. 1. Select the menu button .
   2. Select Settings .
   3. Select Account Details.
   4. Select your username.
   5. Adjust your username.
   6. Select Save.
