Change notifications for specific conversations

If you are part of a team, you can set notification settings per conversation and can choose between the following options:

• Everything: You will get all notifications (including calls and mentions).
• Mentions and replies: You will only receive a notification when someone mentions you or if someone replies to one of your messages.
• Nothing: You won't get any notifications for this conversation. 

• On desktop

  Inside the conversation:

  1. Select the conversation name at the top or the info button .

  2. Select Notifications:
  
  

  3. Select your preferred notification setting from the list: 

  • Everything
  • Mentions and replies
  • Nothing

  In the conversation list:

  1. Select the arrow next to the name of the conversation and the drop-down menu opens.

  2. Select Notifications:
  
  

  3. Select your preferred notification setting from the list: 

  • Everything
  • Mentions and replies

• On mobile

  Inside the conversation:

  1. Select the conversation name at the top.

  2. Select the more option button  .

  3. Select Notifications.

  4. Select your preferred notification setting from the list: 

  • Everything
  • Only mentions
  • Nothing

  OR

  In the conversation list:

  1. Swipe right (iOS) or long-tap (Android) on the conversation name.

  2. Select Notifications.

  3. Select your preferred notification setting from the list: 

  • Everything
  • Only mentions
  • Nothing
