All deleted files and folders are stored in the recycle bin until they are deleted permantly. You can restore deleted files and folders. Every participant has the same acces rights to delete the file permantly and to restore deleted files and folders.
On desktop (macOS, Windows, or on Wire for web)
- Open the Shared Drive tab in your conversation:

above the files and folders list:
