Turn on stealth mode

As a team owner and admin (Wire for Enterprise), you can turn on a stealth mode for certain team members to limit the access to contact them and protect their privacy. 

• This person will be hidden and other team members can't find them via the Connect option or the search field
• Other Wire users outside the team can also not find them 
• Profile link and QR code:
  • In the same team: Option to start a conversation via Open Conversation in the conversation details
  • Not in the same team: Option to start a conversation via Add Contact in the conversation details
• When in the same conversation with a stealth user:
  • In the same team: Option to start a conversation via Open Conversation in the conversation details
  • Not in the same team: Option to start a conversation via Add Contact in the conversation details
     

1. Select Settings , then select Manage team or go to teams.wire.com.
2. Log in with your team account credentials:
   
   
    
3. Select People:
   
   
4. Search for the team member you'd like to edit:
   
   
5. Switch the toggle to Stealth mode:
   
   
6. You notice a clear indication that this person is hidden:
