How can I create a meeting in Wire via Outlook?

  • Updated

When your Microsoft Office admin has set up Wire for Outlook and you set it up on your side , you can schedule end-to-end encrypted meetings in Microsoft Outlook.

1. Open your Microsoft Outlook Calendar on Mac, Windows, or in your browser.

2. Select New Event.

3. Add a title and select the participants.

4. Select Wire in your top toolbar:

5. Select Add Wire meeting link:

6. If it is the first time you use Wire for Outlook, log in to your Wire account.

7. Grant permission by selecting Allow:

8. Wire creates a new group conversation using the event’s title and an invitation link. It will automatically add the link to the description of the event and its location field.

9. Select Send.

This invitation link will allow your colleagues on the same team, other Wire teams, and individual users to join the conversation. Your attendees without a Wire account can join as temporary guests for 24 hours. The conversation is persistent.
